He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Rachel DeGroot (Brandon), Jacob Powers (Lorelai) and Noah Powers; his grandchildren, Carter and Avery; his parents, William J. Powers and Laura Powers; and his siblings, Tracey Serna (Rafael) and Tara Powers-Starr (Ronald Starr).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Smits DeYoung-Vroegh Chapel (649 E 162nd St, South Holland, IL 60473). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
