We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2024, at the age of 91, Donald E. Forrest of South Chicago Heights, Illinois, born in Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther F. Forrest (Allgood) and John R. Forrest Sr.; his siblings, John "Jack" R. Forrest Jr., Robert "Bob" C. Forrest and Marjorie "Marge" Homeier (Forrest); and his daughter Diane Davenport (Forrest).

He is survived by: his son Dean E. Forrest (Anita) of Minneapolis; his grandchildren, Jessica P. Davenport, Nicholas D. Davenport of Cedar Lake, Indiana, Andrew "Drew" W. Forrest (Katie) and Nathaniel D. Forrest of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and his great grandchild Hunter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
