He is survived by: his significant other Pam Gitchel; his children, Kevin Pickering (Nikki) and Jodie Burke (Michael); his grandchildren, Mary, Michael and Erin Burke; and his siblings, Bruce Pickering, Cindy Gabrych and Anna Pearson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
