He is survived by: his daughters, Athena Powell and Sophia Zigomalas; his siblings, Arthur Scot Kinney, Thomas Joseph Kinney, Kevin C. Kinney (Mary), Robin Michelle Boyce, Joe Powell Jr. and Michael Powell; his nieces and nephews, Steven Kinney, Nick Condon, Chantel Pagano (John), Alyssa Force and Logan Adams; his aunt Patricia Gates-Schaffer (John); his uncle Robert Gates (Betsy); and his cousins, Jimmy (Tammy), Judi, Cindy and Robert (Beth).
