He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Kniskern and Lona Kniskern (Slamp); and his aunt Alice Kniskern. He is survived by: his wife Laura Herbig Kniskern; his stepson Jared Herbig (Megan); his granddaughter Morgan; his brother Paul W. Kniskern (Judith); his siblings-in-law, Cathy Hartmann, Susan Pitchford (Darin) and Jeff Bowers (Carol); his nieces and nephews, Melissa Phelps (Jason), Darrio Hartmann (Shannon), Kayla Ruth (Calvin) and Allie John (Isac); his great-nieces, Zoe Kniskern and E. J. Hennings; and his close friends, Tom and Rich Foresman.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beloit Public Library (605 Eclipse Blvd, Beloit, WI 53511).
