Peggy S. Lowery Obituary
Peggy S. Lowery 45, of South Beloit, IL died at 7:26 a.m., Wednesday July 22, 2020 in Agrace Hospice Care in Janesville, WI.
She was born March 4, 1975 in Rockdale, IL the daughter of Veronica Benes and William Johnson. Peggy graduated from Rockdale Highschool. She accomplished a certificate for a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Peggy married Shawn Lowery Sr in October of 2012. Peggy was as close to anyone’s heart as she can get. She loved making everyone happy. Peggy used to light up the room as she entered it. She was always the life of the party. Even though she was so nice and loving we always knew not to push her buttons. Peggy used to like taking long car rides and always made sure she snapped some good photo. Peggy was such a kind hearted woman. She made sure that she was always there to help someone. Even on her last days she decided that she wanted to foster a baby.
I know that that baby kept her spirits up. She was really into art work when she was sick. She loved anything that was diamond art. She also loved to play scrabble with Shawn on Facebook. Her favorite show to watch was My 90 day fiancé. I’m sure it’s because she knew she married Shawn too quick. Just kidding. They had their ups and downs but I know they loved one another. Peggy fought her Leukemia long and hard. She was a warrior in her last days. Unfortunately the cancer won and she was taken to God at such a young age. She will be forever in our hearts and missed dearly.
Survivors include her husband Shawn Lowery, Sr.; Daughter Ariana Rose Johnson; Niece Melissa Johnson.
Predecessors include her Daughters Alyssa and Heaven Lowery; Sister Patricia Johnson; Brother-in-law Kevin Lowery.
A visitation observing social distancing with wearing of masks requested, will be held Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd., Rockton, IL. Cremation Rites to be Accorded.
