We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2024, at the age of 75, Patrick Michael Monahan of South Beloit, Illinois, born in Beloit, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Monahan and Margaret Monahan (Ferwerda); his brother Terry Monahan (Gail); his nephew Richard Mason Carratt; and his great-nephew Robert McClain Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Sherry Monahan; his sons, Ryan Monahan (Elizabeth) and Sean Monahan; his grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Joseph and Giuliana Monahan; his brothers, Dennis Monahan (Cathy), Tim Monahan and Brian Monahan (Mary); his siblings-in-law, Gail Monahan, Vicki King and Norm Rotblat; and his nieces and nephews, James Carratt (Jennifer), Donald Carratt, Robert McClain (Sara), Mark Rotblat (Wendy), Kate Whitacre (Brett), Meghan O'Hara (Michael), Brianne, Bridget, Maureen and Allison Monahan.

Pat served as a lector at St. Peter's church and was a member of St. Peter's Knights of Columbus, where he volunteered his time at countless events to raise money for charity.
