He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Garman and Evelyn Garman (Rodermel); his son Micky Garman, Jr.; his brother Ricky Garman; and his brother-in-law Chad Layman.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his daughters, Heather Christophersen (Rich) and Katie Alt (Alex); his grandchildren, Ricky Christophersen (Austin), Hailie Garman, Derek Neal and Andrew Russell, Jr.; his parents-in-law, Fran and Larry Layman; his sister Alnona Rippy (Denny); and his siblings-in-law, Derek Layman (Laura), Stacy Peters and Diane Pelayo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
