He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Melaas and Angelus Melaas (White); and his brother Dennis Melaas. He is survived by: his spouses, Barbara Olson and Barb; his children, Brett Melaas of Oconomowoc, WI and Corie Amman (Andy) of Byron, IL; his grandchildren, Brock Alexander, Summer Amman, Paulie Melaas, Tony Melaas and Jimmy Melaas; his great grandchildren, Aliannah Alexander and Tayden Alexander; his siblings, Mike Melaas (Jeanie), Susan Carney and Cyndee Hagen; and his sister-in-law Mary Jo Melaas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
