It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine E. Cliffe of South Beloit, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Wicks and Evelyn Stewart (McKay); her former spouse Francis H. Cliffe; her son Gary Owen; her siblings, Gwendolyn Visgar, Eleanor Hamer, Lyle "Bud" Wicks, Glenn Wicks and Garth Wicks; her stepfather Newell "Tex" Stewart; and her brothers-in-law, Donald Cliffe, Kenneth Cliffe and Bobby Cliffe.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Pat Wicks; her husband Fran; her children, Francis Cliffe (Cori), David Cliffe (Bonnie), Cathy Murphy (Mike), Shari Birch (Dean) and Susan Miller; her grandchildren, Joshua Cliffe (Josie), Stacie Knutson, Tiffany Schwager (JD), Trisha Cliffe, Amy Williams (Trevor), David Cliffe (Georgia), Gary McGuire (Renee), Ryan McGuire (Brynn), Michael Murphy, Ryan Murphy (Mindy), Eric Murphy (Robin), Michelle Birch (DJ), Mindy Birch, Steven Birch (Courtney), Becky Naff (Jeremy) and Sarah Miller; her siblings, Fred Wicks (Barb), Laurie Wicks (Pat) and Diane Schroeder (Richard); her sister-in-law Marilyn Cliffe; and her aunt Gerry. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Social distancing and face mask are required.
Memorials may be given in her name to Faith Lutheran Church.
