With solemn reverence, we commemorate Gary A. Swartout of South Beloit, Illinois, whose life came to an end on January 6, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Swartout and Agnes Swartout; and his children, Todd Swartout and Kimberly Flynn. He is survived by: his son Chris Swartout (Christy); his grandchildren, Nick, Brittany, Sierra, Brianna, Taylor, Kaylie, Kenzie, Connor, Erin, Hailey, Ashlynn and Lissy; and his siblings, Eddie Swartout (Diana), Sandy Strobach, Bunny Erickson, Kathy Peterson and Al Swartout (Julie). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roscoe VFW (11385 2nd St, Roscoe, IL 61073).
