He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Carlson and Dorothy Carlson (Schell); his parents-in-law, Jean Brown and William Norwood; his brothers, Harold (Iris) and LeRoy (Iva); and his brother-in-law Bill Wells.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Norwood; his siblings, Elsie, Dorothy and John; his children, Tina Carlson (Tim), Donald Carlson (Lea) and Ronald Carlson (Karen); his grandchildren, Adam Gamlin (Jessica), Malena Gamlin (Ty), Noah Carlson (Alyssa), Berkley Carlson (Coby), Malin Pantaleo, Ronald Carlson (Lindsay), Ryan Carlson, Ian Carlson (Sami), Alexandrea Charrier (Ambrose) and Reid Carlson (Mackenzy); and his great grandchildren, Peighton, Wyatt Carlson, Josephine, Kinsley Carlson, Oliver, Madelyn Carlson and Bowen Carlson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
