She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Libbee and Sarah Libbee; and her sister Marian Kirby. She is survived by: her husband Richard R. Swarts; her children, Scott Swarts (Laura) and Shelle Danek (Keith); her grandchildren, Spencer (Amanda), Sarah (Neil), Madison, Haleigh and Tanner; and her great grandchild Noelle.
