He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Slimick and Twila Slimick (Markham); and his wife Melinda "Mindy" Slimick. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Smith (Randy) of Bethalto, Julie Slimick of Bethalto, Amy Cooper (Matt) of Bethalto and Justin Ray (Jeanette) of Granite City; and his siblings, Darrell Slimick (Judy) of Bethalto, Vanessa Eddinger (Kevin) of Bethalto, Ron Slimick (Tammy) of South Roxana and Shelley Cauley (Glenn) of Suwanee, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
