He was predeceased by: his parents, William D. "Pete" and Delores Ann Burroughs (Grayson); his stepfather Eugene Davey; and his brothers, Bill and Mark Burroughs.
He is survived by: his close friend Donna File of Sorento; his stepchildren, Valerie Wood (Joshua) and Michael Riggs; his grandchildren, John Robert Wood, Ava Marie Wood, Madison Kay Riggs and Natalie Marie Riggs; and his brother Rick Burroughs (Theresa) of Granite City.
