It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wall of Sorento, Illinois, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Juanita May Wall (Griffith); and his siblings, Loren and Shirley Heady Wright. He is survived by: his children, Alexander Wall (Amanda) of Sorento, Aaron Wall (Brittany Hancock) of Alton, Donald Poynter of Sorento, Lisa Patterson of Huntsville and Kimberly Addler of Staunton, Illinois; his grandchildren, Willow, Lily Wall of Sorento, Owen Wall of Alton, Britt'Ed' Roberts (Sarah) of Bunker Hill, Torie Roberts Garlik (David), Emily Poynter Sutton (Tory) of Pocahontas and Maggie Poynter of Sorento, Illinois; and his great grandchildren, Abigail, Lilly, Helen, Iris, Olivia, Ryder, Elijah and Jett.
Memorials may be given at the visitation and funeral, or mailed to the First Baptist Church, 206 W. Taylor St., Sorento, Illinois 62086.
