With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arthur Ripperda (Sorento, Illinois), born in Breese, Illinois, who passed away on October 8, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ripperda and Cecilia Anna Ripperda; his wife Thelma Ripperda; his daughter Deborah K. Murphy; and his siblings, Bernice Kuhl, Louis Ripperda, Lawrence Ripperda, Valerius "Larry" Ripperda, Alfred Ripperda and Paul Ripperda.
He is survived by: his former wife Veda Ward; his children, Arthur B. Ripperda of Colorado, Cynthia M. Trickey of Beckemeyer, Allen J. Ripperda (Pamela Moss) of Duncan and Shelia F. Ripperda of Kingsland, Georgia.; and his stepchildren, Larry Jenkins of Indiana, Judy Cook of Illinois and Mike Bowers of Illinois. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
His family suggests donations in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
