She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pederson and Tomine Pederson (Torkelson); her husband August; her brothers, Art and Jeff Pederson; and her niece Barbara "Jippy" Diab.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Menk of Somonauk, IL, Linda Meyer (Dan) of Somonauk, IL and Jon Menk of Salesville, AR; her grandchildren, Brad Meyer of Somonauk, IL, Bryan Meyer of Somonauk, IL, Elin Frietsch of Whitehall, MI and Michael Menk of Bergen, Norway; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Julian Menk, Anna and Elizabeth; and her niece Laura Caupert.
Memorials may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church in Somonauk, The Olmstead Memorial Museum in Somonauk or Open-Door Rehabilitation Center in Sandwich.
