He was predeceased by: his parents, G. F. Underwood and Dorothy Scott Underwood; his wife Annabelle Underwood (Ann); his stepmother Virginia Underwood; his sister Marilyn James (Bud); and his siblings-in-law, Stanley Olinger (Marie) and Martha Spencer.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Underwood (Christie) of Lake, Mark Underwood (Silvia) of Homewood and Curt Underwood (Laurie) of McHenry, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Eric Underwood, Ryan Underwood (Elizabeth), Tyler Underwood (Brittany), Jessica Reinert (Eric), Jennifer Underwood, Brad Underwood and John Underwood; his great grandchild Annabelle Underwood; his sister-in-law Marilyn Olinger of Abingdon; and his stepsister Millie Hunt (Ed) of Blandinsville.
