It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Ione Meyer of Somonauk, Illinois, born in Winfield, Kansas, who passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Robert and Mary Olive Lauppe Moore; her former husband Thomas Clason; and her daughter Karen Jean Clason. She is survived by: her husband Richard; and her children, Brian Clason (Debra) of Plano, Randy Clason (Amy) of Plainfield, IN, Patricia Speake (James) of Ninety Six, SC and Lisa Vandermeer (Evert) of Somonauk, IL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Salem Lutheran Church in Sandwich, IL, Open Door, a cancer society, or a charity of one's choice.
