She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey E. Haas and Magdalene M. Haas (Hann); her husband Don F. Hardekopf; her son Daniel Hardekopf; and her brothers, Paul Haas, Thomas Haas and Charles Haas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Peura (Michael) of Yorkville, IL., Lori Christopher (Scott) of Somonauk, IL. and Dawn Napolitano (Kevin) of Somonauk, IL.; and her sisters, Reita Hunt of Boulder, CO., Shirley VeZain of Somonauk, IL., Janet Barron of Somonauk, IL. and Linda Melson of Somonauk, IL.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Turner-Eighner Funeral Home - Somonauk (13160 US-34, Somonauk, IL 60552). A rosary was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St John the Baptist Catholic Church (320 S Depot St, Somonauk, IL 60552-9780). A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the St. John Catholic Cemetery E. 2351st (320 S Depot St, Somonauk, IL 60552-9780).
