We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Jean D. Wegener of Somonauk, Illinois, born in DeKalb, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Herrmann and Ellen Herrmann (Hickey); her husband Donald A. Wegener; her brother Vernon R. Herrmann; her son Joe Wegener; her son-in-law Robert Francis; her granddaughter Melanie Rose Anderson; and her great grandchild James Adam Rahe.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Elder (Jim) of Hampshire, IL, Maryellen Norcross (Bud) of Rochelle, IL, Peggy Strever (Brad) of Somoanuk, IL, Joan Francis of Mendota, IL, Julie Anderson (Randy) of Sheridan, IL, Kim Goodman (Brian) of Monument, CO, Jim Wegener (Patty) of Hudson, WI, Chris Wegener (Mindy) of Sandwich, IL, Nick Wegener (Kelly) of Somonauk, IL and Diane Wegener of Rochelle, IL; and her sister Patricia Sherman of East Moline, IL. She is also survived by 43 grandchildren and 68 great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 concerns there will be no receiving line offered at this visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be sent to The Open Door in Sandwich, IL, Somonauk Education Foundation, or Perpetual Masses are appreciated for the repose of the Soul of Jean Wegener.
