He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry H. Meyer and Viola E. Lauderbach Meyer; his wife Delores J.; his son-in-law Dave Nelson; and his siblings, Elaine Filner, Gloria Rekow, Delbert, Arlen and Darrell Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, JoAnne Nelson of Marseilles, IL, Tim Meyer (Lori) of Plano, IL, Rich Meyer of Sandwich, IL, Toby Meyer of Sandwich, IL and Lori Dennis (Mike) of Sandwich, IL; his grandchildren, Amy Figenbaum, Charlie Nelson, Stephanie Meyer, Ashley Dennis and Sarah Dennis; and his great grandchildren, Dakotah, Levi, Colter, Kilah Figenbaum and Grayson Dennis.
