He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Wilkinson and Annette Wilkinson (Moir); his wife Mary Jo Klimpke; and his siblings, Harold Wilkinson and Melva Ramey.

He is survived by: his children, Kelly Vitaioli of Janesville, WI, Michael Wilkinson (Dawn) of Sandwich, IL, Jeffrey Wilkinson (Lori) of Somonauk, IL and Richard Wilkinson (Heather) of Somonauk, IL; his grandchildren, Jenna (Matt), Nate, Sarah, Alex, Ashley (Eric), Mary (Justin), Zack, Destiny, Sophia and Bella; and his sister Sandra Scull of Joliet, IL. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
