It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Albin Clason of Somonauk, Illinois, born in Sandwich, Illinois, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gunnar Clason and Frances Marcot Clason; his brother Thomas Clason; and his brother-in-law Bob Johns. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Clason (Johns); and his children, Kelly Clason, Todd Clason (Jennifer), Mandi Brooks (Brad) and Jed Clason (Rita). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Salem Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 105, Sandwich, IL 60548, where he was a lifelong member, or to the charity of one's choice.
