He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia R. Matthies; his children, Lori Baumert (Brian) and Michael Matthies (Janice); his grandchildren, Bradley, Blake Baumert and Jill Lozano (Mat); his great grandchild Mati Lozano; and his brother Leonard Matthies (late Sandra).
