He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Schaper and Frances Schaper (Andrews). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn of Somonauk; his children, Cindy Jackowiak (Mike), Debbie Fuchs (George) of Sheridan, IL, Angela Schaper of Somonauk, IL, Ivan Rose (Vickie) of Montgomery, IL, Amy Becker (Keith) of Millington, IL, Alison Schaper of Millington, IL and Mike Rose (Diana) of Seneca, IL; his grandchildren, Nick, Diane May (Davey), Jordan, Zack, Gus, Melissa, Kaitlyn and Michael; his great grandchildren, Ella, Quinn and Carter; and his brothers, Jim Schaper (Barb), John Schaper (Candi) of Oswego, IL and Tim Schaper (Mary Ann). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
