He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Miller and Ethel Miller; his wife Gerry; his son Scott; his granddaughter-in-law Jenny Miller; his siblings, Doris Jean Hilmes and Arthur Miller; his parents-in-law, Frank and Sophie Krystoff; and his siblings-in-law, Ronnie, Jim, Dave Krystoff and Mary Ann Richter (Alvin).
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Schumacher (Chuck Jr.), Jeff Miller (Pam) and Diane McCarkel; his daughter-in-law Mary Beth Miller; and his great grandchildren, Campbell Schumacher and Sam Schumacher. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (10 S Lincoln St, Smithton, IL 62285). A burial will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Carmel Cemetery (10101 W Main St, Belleville, IL 62223).
Memorials would be appreciated to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Smithton, IL, or to the Parkinsons Foundation.
