He was predeceased by: his wife Susan K.; and his brother James R. McGuire. He is survived by: his children, Joseph McGuire, Mark McGuire, Julie McGuire, Shannon McGuire, Richard McGuire, Kevin Koesterer and Tina Koesterer; his grandchildren, Michael Freeman, Sean McGuire, Joseph McGuire, Joshua McGuire and Marcella McGuire; his great grandchildren, Avery McGuire, Austin McGuire, Isaac McGuire, Patrick McGuire, Joey McGuire and Jace Freeman; his siblings, Patricia Nordmann (James), Timothy J. McGuire (Linda), Kate McGuire, Daniel McGuire (Carolyn), Michael McGuire (Mary Ann) and Leo "Butch" McGuire (Gerry); and his sister-in-law Tottie Plessa (Vicki Young). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
