We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2021, at the age of 83, Jerold Touchette of Smithton, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius and Clara; his brother Lawrence Touchette; his brother-in-law Norman Hoffman; and his nephew Dale Hoffman.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth M.; his sons, Steven Touchette (Denise), Keith Touchette (Michelle) and Scott Touchette (Melissa); his grandsons, Landon Touchette and Brandon Lybarger; and his siblings, David Touchette (Dorothy), Mary Ann Hoffman and Kathleen Fern (Mike). He is also survived by extended family; and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, to Hospice of Southern Illinois, Inc., to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Smithton, IL, or in the form of masses to the church.
