Dolores Dill Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dolores Dill of Smithton, Illinois, born in Mascoutah, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter "Whip" Oliver Dill; her parents, Valentine (Catherine) and Klemme; her siblings, Alvina Knecht (Alfred) and Roland Klemme (Bernice); and her siblings-in-law, Rosemarie Gambo (John), Raymond Dill (Alice), Wayne Dill and Judy Dill.
She is survived by: her daughters, Constance Hill (Michael), Dr. Susan Dill, JoAnn Bertelsman and Jane Skaer (Dean); her grandchildren, Dr. Carrie Villanueva (Joseph), Angie Bertelsman of Benjamin, Elizabeth Shaw (Travis), John Skaer, Jennifer Ravanh (Khan) and Sarah Gebhardt (Brian); and her great grandchildren, Joseph, Presley Villanueva, Cecelia, Benjamin Bertelsman, Dean, Margaret Shaw, Branson, Bo Ravanh, Olivia and Lucas Gebhardt. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John United Church of Christ (303 S Smith St, Smithton, IL 62285). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Dolores' memory to St. John UCC Memorial Fund, Smithton, IL.
