We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2018, at the age of 89, Herbert G. Allen (Smithshire, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Allen and Hazel Gibb Allen; his spouse Martha A. Brown; and his daughters, Susan Ketcham (John) of Rockford and Jennifer Hennenfent (Clinton) of Galesburg.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to The Wounded Warriors Project or the First United Methodist Church in Monmouth.
