It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary L. Davis of Smithshire, Illinois, born in Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Davis and Amy Davis (Thomas); his brother Charles Davis; and his daughter Katie Arnold. He is survived by: his wife Terry Davis of Smithshire, IL; his children, Emily Trimble (Robert Pulley) of Galesburg, IL, Dawn Foglesong (Todd) of Oneida, IL, Patricia ODuor of Kansas City, MO, Anthony Gittings (Terri) of Stronghurst, IL and David Sandoval of Smithshire, IL; his sisters, Debra Groves of Glasgow, KY and Kay Marr of Rocky Hill, KY; his parents-in-law, Robert and Gerry Gittings of Little York, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Valerie Huber (Mike) of Seaton, IL, Cecil Gittings (Paula) of Tuttle, OK and Daryl Gittings (Debbie) of Allendale, IL.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
