He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; his daughter Elizabeth Romano; his parents, Daniel Heffron and Cora Heffron; and his siblings, Daniel Heffron, Jr., John Norman Heffron (Carmen Matthews) and Corinne McChesney (late John).
He is survived by: his children, Walter Heffron, Jr. (Jane), Ann Heffron and Ellen Heffron; and his son-in-law Robert Romano. He is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
