She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Weatherwax and Violet Weatherwax (Parker); and her sister-in-law Georgia Deem Teran. She is survived by: her husband Jon Deem; her sons, Scott Deem (Sharon) of Lake and Todd Deem (Misha) of Mt. Juliet, TN; her sister Jane Weimerslage (Ron) of Geneva; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Mitchell, Marissa and Addison; and her siblings-in-law, Janice Knight (Jerry), Lisa Richter, Wendy Folk (Frank) and Bill Deem (Cindy).

A memorial has been established to the Pinecrest Good Samaritan Fund.
