It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James P. Plunkett of Sleepy Hollow, Illinois, born in Kentland, Indiana, who passed away on October 23, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Plunkett and Mae Plunkett; his close friend Robert Master; his wife Melba Bonnett; and his grandchildren, Tricia and Quynh.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Hayden (Dan) and Greg Plunkett (Lola); his grandchildren, Erin (Jason), Megan (Arian), James, Brian, Miya and Bavaria; and his great grandchildren, Zack, Bridget, Aidan, Brady, Andrew and Evelyn.
In lieu of flowers. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Church.
