He was predeceased by: his grandfather Myles (Gemma); his parents, Albert Gerber and Elsie Gerber; his brothers-in-law, Marvin Robinson (late Phyllis) and Fred Robinson (late Ina); and his nephew Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Gerber; his children, Debbie Lipkin (Jay), Wendy Price (Alan) and Howard Gerber (Katie); his grandchildren, Robby Lipkin, Brad Lipkin (Marti) and Ilana Price; his sister Ruth Ann Miller (Barbara Welker); his niece Susan; and his nephew Edwin.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Skokie Chapel - Under The (8851 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, IL 60077). A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM and at 9:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (9900 Gross Point Rd, Skokie, IL 60076). A shiva will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Debbie and Jay Lipkin's Residence (1671 Mission Hills Rd, Northbrook, IL 60062).
