It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia R. Gehrig (Skokie, Illinois), born in Evanston, Illinois, who passed away on August 25, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband David Allen Gehrig; her parents, Emma Strahs (Vogel) and Halvor Juul Sr.; her stepfather Edward Strahs; her brother Halvor Juul Jr. (Hal); and also Jane.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Kocmond (Steve), Elizabeth Gehrig, Jennifer McDonald (Bruce) and David Gehrig Jr. (Pamela); her grandchild Erin; and her cousins, Lois Dowhen and Anne Habegger. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and seven nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Pat's memory to causes that were important to her in her life; the American Diabetes Association (diabetes.org) or the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) or a charity of your choice.
