He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Tiersky and Gertrude Tiersky; and his sister Roberta Fein. He is survived by: his wife Ethel; his children, Howard Tiersky (Lana), Arthur Tiersky (Priya Devaraj) and Marcia Tiersky; his grandchildren, Rachel, Jessica, Foster, Samantha and Joseph; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Friedman and Sanford Kovitz.
