Though Janis may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Janis leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Arnold "Arnie" Rubens; her daughter Molly Sklare; her stepchildren, Aaron Rubens (Megan), Leslie Stevens (Sebastian) and Andrea Sheahan (Sam); her grandchild Avery Rubens; her parents, Yadelle Sklare and Robert Sklare; and her siblings, Tamara Faintuck (Jack) and Ronald Sklare (Leah).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Skokie Chapel - Under The (8851 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, IL 60077).
