He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Weissman and Ida Weissman; his wife Bernice Weissman; his sister Evelyn Heckmyer; and his nephew Steve Heckmyer.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Weissman, David Weissman (Ann Hubbs) and Ellen Weissman; his grandchildren, Adam Weissman, Noah Montgomery and Clara Montgomery; his nieces and nephews, Marilyn Heckmyer, Gail Heckmyer, Robert Pikowsky (Reta) and Richard Pikowsky; his great-nephews, Joe, Dan and Dennis; and his great-niece Jennie.
