He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Yefim Gelman and Mariya Gelman; his wife Sofiya; his children, Luda Barr and Dmitriy Gelman; and his grandchildren, Erica Gelman, Alan Gelman and Vyacheslav Khrapak.
