With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Horace J. Schwartz (Skokie, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Enid. He is survived by: his children, Bob (Tina) and Ann (Mike); his grandchildren, Dakota, Melissa (Hunter), Rebecca, Elissa, Julia and Danielle; his great grandchild Carter; and his granddaughter Carly. He is also survived by friend who stayed close to his friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to either Ravinia or the North Shore Senior Center of Northfield, IL are greatly appreciated.

“I was only in his company for a short time but Mr. Schwartz left a lasting impression! During Melissa & Hunter's wedding I had a brief conversation with this wonderful gentleman. He spoke about tracking his granddaughters' travel itinerary & the pride & happiness he felt for them. The way his face lit up discussing his family, spoke volumes about the great love he had for them. He will certainly be remembered fondly by all who knew him. May memories of him be a source of comfort.”
