He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elvira Espejo Wideman; his daughter Erika Nikole Wideman; his siblings, Brenda Phillips (John, Jr.), Michael Wideman (Susan), Rex Wideman (Cori) and Sherese Nubin (Rodney); and his nieces and nephews, Gregory Wideman (Tamara), Keiryn Ajayi-Obe (Gbenga), John, III Phillips (Kelly), Christopher Anderson, Trey Wideman (Perla), Ayesha Wideman, Rawson Wideman, Tyler Nubin and Jordan Nubin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Donnellan Family Funeral Services (10045 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, IL 60077). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Lawns Cemetery (3100 Shermer Rd, Northbrook, IL 60062).
