He was predeceased by: his former wife Carole; his son Larry; his siblings, Howard Contarsy and Yvette Edelhart; and his sister-in-law Renee Parks (Melvin).
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Elise Contarsy (Cynthia Lynch), Sandra Wishnick, Susan Wishnick (Allen Steinberg) and Dana Wishnick; his daughter-in-law Chrysa Contarsy; his grandchildren, Mary, Carolyn, Anna Contarsy, Cooper, Eleanor Lynch, David, Seth and Ezra Steinberg; his great grandchildren, Iden Heath and Willow Morgan; and his brother-in-law Ralph Koransky (Yvonne). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
