We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2022, at the age of 100, Esfir Akopian (Skokie, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Gurgen; and her siblings, Bela Rutman and Joseph Daman. She is survived by: her children, Svetlana Cherny and Eugenia Akopian (Boris Barsky); her grandchildren, Serge Cherny (Joanna), Michelle Kaufman (Oleg) and Alan Barsky (Cathy); her great grandchildren, Helena, Inessa, Emma, Sarah, Maya, Nora and Liam; and her nieces and nephews, Natasha Daman and Yuri Rutman.
