She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro (Maura Areja Rubiales) and Laguna. She is survived by: her children, Anna, Edward (Katherine), Ronald and Eric; her spouse Gualberto M. (Bert); her siblings, Pacing (Rodrigo), Osing (Magning), Lydia (Jaime), Gloria (Mario), Mercy (Grimaldo) and Pedro Rubiales Jr. (Ivy); her grandchildren, Jessica (Robin), Jacob (Kendra), Julia (Austin), Kayla (Austin), Ben, Citra and Noah; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Lyla, Delany, Lochlan, Marin, Gabriel, Calvin and Maxine.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Haben Funeral Home & Crematory (8057 Niles Center Rd, Skokie, IL 60077). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (8100 Niles Center Rd, Skokie, IL 60077).
