It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Sue Leavitt (Skokie, Illinois), who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Frank Leavitt PhD; her children, Terry Ann Leavitt-Chavez (Anthony Chavez) and Jacqueline Leavitt MD; her granddaughter Samantha Rachel Chavez; her siblings, Stanley Margul (Jean) and Betty Margul MD; her sister-in-law Helen Muñoz (late John); and her nephews, Daniel Margul MD, Elliot Margul, Tony Muñoz and Bobby Levin MD.
