He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Melnick and Clara Melnick; and his siblings, Harry Melnick (late Frieda) and Ida Gordon (late Ed). He is survived by: his spouse Surrie; his children, Dr. Bennett Melnick (Diane), Dr. Lester Melnick and Dr. Nina Silverstein (Irwin); his grandchildren, Ilana Krigel (Steven), Julie, Ian Melnick (Lauren Gold), Lena Melnick and Everett Melnick (Jaime); and his great grandchildren, Dalia, Emma, Olive, Noa, Siggy and Joey.
