He was predeceased by: his wife Judy; his uncle Morris; his wife Anna Kanter; his sisters, Betty Karr (late William) and Annette Schuman (late Alvin); and his nieces and nephews, Cheryl Karr, Richard Karr (late Terri), Craig Schuman (Cindy), Lauri Kaplan and Barbara Carlson (David).

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Naomi Shisler.
